  • The HTC Wildfire is a new phone and one that is turning out to be quite popular. I'd suggest your best option would be to play a couple of companies off against each other. Phone Carphone Warehouse and see what their best offer is. Then give Phones 4 U a call and say "Carphone Warehouse are offering this. Can you offer me anything better?".

Once you've got your best offer, phone the actual network provider and ask them if they will match the best offer you've got from CPW/P4U if you go to them direct. If they will come anywhere close to your best offer, think very long and hard about going direct to the network - CPW have some really bad feedback on here about their customer service!!

But so does every retailer and every network

True, but Orange and CPW seem to have the most recent poor service posts.

CPW have it on a 12 month contract, £49.99 for the phone & £20 month 200mins, 1000 txts & 500mb data. Haven't seen it on 12 months anywhere else. Might give you something to start haggling with?
