need help re iphone 4

playing about with it and i cant see how to get my photos and videos on to my laptop from it.
have tried bluetooth and it just keeps saying 'searching discoverable devices' and wont find my laptop.
im having to email everything from it
any ideas?

Are you using a Windows laptop, or a Mac?

If it is Windows, then when you connect it with the USB cable, it should be visible as an external hard drive from which you can copy over anything saved in your "Camera Roll".

thanks for reply. eventually worked out can do it through iphoto (im on a mac)
still cant work out bluetooth on it tho, doesnt seem to be responding

Is the Bluetooth on iPhones still as much use as a glass dart board? its was on the 3GS and touch

yeah im a bit disappointed with that aspect to be honest.
it shows as the bluetooth being on but wont actually find any devices despite it being sat next to my laptop and my laptop had the bluetooth on

I think it will only bluetooth to headphones,. or car bluetooth thingys

i mentioned this to a friend last night - mines a 3gs - and she said its a kind of glitch to stop music sharing and the blue tooth will only work like in car hands free sets and stuff

i was only trying to get a photo tho

Bluetooth on any iphone isn't fully functional. You can't transfer pics, songs, videos etc. You can only use it to connect to headsets etc.

Only thing about the iphone I dislike.
