Never heard of a paypal top up card but the ebay fees are 10% of the amount sold, so £1.00 should only be 10p.0

OK. Fees are listed on Ebay, so listing fees vary from free upwards, final value fee is 10% up to £40 max. Paypal fees are 20p plus 3.9% of sale fee. If you get a non payer you can apply to have the fees reimbursed, open an unpaid item dispute.sarah_walk wrote: »:mad:can anybody tell me 1st about the pay pal top up card, how do you get your money from your pay pal account onto your pay pal top up card,i have tried every thing sent them (pay pal) message asking them, but they never answer back.and 2nd does any body know about the fees on selling with ebay as i sold something for a £1.00 and they taken 70p in fees then i sold a phone for £21.50 and the buyer was taken off e-bay so the item was not sold but they charged £6.00 fee .i have been on e-bay (buying) for a year but selling i am new,and to me it seem like im losing money and i may as well give the bloody things away. hope some one can explain to me cause when you as pay pal all they do is send you the invoice and the break down and never answer the question you ask them.thanks for your time.
Paypal top up card is pretty easy to top up from Paypal, log into the top up card and you should see it from there. You do need to log into the Paypal top up card page (not from Paypal) https://www.paypal-topupcardmanagement.com/paypalappl/get/login/login.jsf.0 -
Hi
i have a paypal top up card, i use it to transfer money from my paypal account as it only take 1-2 days to get on the card where as if you transfer the money to your bank it takes a lot longer.
go to paypal yop up card, click on sign in to account manager , sign in then go to top up card then follow the instructions ....
it only allows you to top up in whole pounds

I use a paypal top up card its easy. You just go through paypal find the link for paypal top up and go through log in and click top up card it takes the amount you want from your paypal balance. I put any paypal balance on for treats its my little card of luxury.
The only thing i am not clear on is if i needed a refund would it refund back on the card ok?0 -
Another rip off scheme taking advantage of paypal/ebay customers. It's not enough that you pay through the nose in fees after selling an item, but if the topup card is the only way you can get money into your paypal, they still get you.0

I got one thinking I could register it with paypal. Would you believe it but you can't?! I was within the cooling off period so cancelled and was refunded my £5. Paypal card is a complete waste of time.0

Topupcard isn't the only way to get money into Paypal, that's not what it is, its essentially a debit card/prepaid top up card and run by NatWest. You can top up the card via Paypal account or by other standard methods.Another rip off scheme taking advantage of paypal/ebay customers. As far as I know no one forces you to use Ebay and I'd assume the take up rate of the TopUpCard is relatively small and you certainly don't have to have one..0
