I am looking for best BB/phone deal from a not got anything start.
I havent had a landline for 5 years and dont need 1 either, but circumstances seem to dictate.
I cant get cable so that is out. So ADSL is my only option.
I wanted to go with TalkTalk3, but do i need to have a BT first then switch or can they do an install as well, their webby has no information in this area that I could see and no contact details other than email form, which will no doubt never get answered.
And I cant even see if it available coz they need a phone number (which I dont have) to match with postcode
If I have to get a BT line, will I have to sign up a contract meaning I cant use TT3 for at least a year. So will be forced to use overlay provider, if that is case, I may aswell use Orange as I am on a £30 contract.
Bah all this coz the wifi I was scabbing for free was switched off :rotfl:

you need a BT based line for any adsl broadband service... be it from talktalk, BT, or even the post office0

Sign up for a Bt line (about £100 unfortunately!) then use Primus saver option 2 for your calls(free eve and weekend to landlines- no monthly fee).If you are on an Orange contract anyway, you would be crazy not to take up their free broadband offer.
Hope this helps...........Neil0
