Right I think I am having a stupid moment, I can't find the cust services number for Woolies on the website - has anyone got it? I want to ring and ask if they are still going to get my Wii for me before Christmas else i'm just going to cancel and take my chances else where.

    Been to :-

    2 x GameStation
    2 x Game
    2 x Comet
    1 x Toys r us
    2 x Asda
    2 x Tesco
    1 x Pc World
    2 x Woolworths
    1 x WH Smith
    1 x Argos

All got none, that is my morning since 8:30 till 11:30.

    waaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaaa!!!
I basically did the same this morning in Southampton.....Just in case Argos foul up and do not deliver my preorder, but to no avail.. the Wii is rarer than rocking horse s*** to buy without preorder.I would also adivise people to get their Wii play and nunchuck accessories, if they want them asap.I picked up the last Wii play that Game had in stock at about 8.15 this morning.I only managed to get a nunchuck controller because I was there when Gamestation opened at nine! I tried Woolies and the girl behind the counter told me I was 5 mins too late ...someone had purchased the last 8 that they had!(this was at 8.45).On another note why pay over the odds for one? I see that steve guy trying to sell them for £499 good luck to him but just remember this you can buy a basic xbox360 /a psp /a ds etc for now if you are desperate for a different console experience it will only be 3-4 months until they will be on general sale again.Life is too short ...so give the rip off merchants a wide berth and just wait for the next lot of supplies...... .................

hmmm it's perma engaged - I wonder what with! I feel sorry for anyone working at customer services for any of these places, they'll be getting the brunt of it

going to try amazon at 3pm, if no joy then it's back to ringing Woolies. Out of interest, anyone elses Woolies order still say pre-release and have actually got through to customer services and had any kind of guarantee?

I was at the store today to check my woolies pre order. They said aparently it's with parcelforce but they don't know when they will deliver - living in the STICKs doesn't help either!

  • Some gamestation outlets have over sold their pre-order quota buy 20-30. I think The Sun is doing an article on Saturday about the whole pre-order fiasco.

How do we know that even if you are lucky between 3 and 4 pm that they won't take payment, say confirmed then say "ahem delivery in 2007" ?.
