just cancel it if they do that, or wait and see if you can get one earlier then cancel it.-1- wrote:How do we know that even if you are lucky between 3 and 4 pm that they won't take payment, say confirmed then say "ahem delivery in 2007" ?.

Hi.
I went home over lunch and saw a missed call on my home phone. Did 1571 and there was a recorded message from Woolworths saying my Wii was in the store ready to collect. Message was spoken by some strange computer generated voice. It was a bit weird!
I ordered online and didn't get an e-mail to let me know it was available to collect, but my account now says something like "awaiting collection at store"
Hope this helps someone....

Just been to Woolies again in my lunch hour, they were putting stock out on the shelves (controllers, games, etc) and had just had a delivery!!!
Went to check for my pre-order and they had one for me, except for Zelda (which they were putting out on the shelves?)!
I'm happy now, just stuck at work for another 2 hours before I can use it, doh.

I have just off loaded my xbox (not 360) and all the bits and pieces I'd been collecting for it in Gamestation. Got £85 in trade in, which wasn't bad considering the console was £10 from Boots. I traded in for Zelda, Ice age and a nunchuck, also bought the sports accessory pack.
I've still got a steering wheel coming from HMV for the xbox.lol.0 -
Thanks Oxblue..had a weird message on my phone earlier, message said 'press 1 to listen' but when I did this it just kept repeating 'press 1 to listen to message' so I just deleted it.OxBlue wrote:Hi.

The manager in Woolies said that if they have not contacted you then you will get one.
So did any of you that has collected from Woolies receive any sort of phone calls from them before?0 -
Has anyone, who has been successful, actually played the darn thing yet?

Yeah and is it any good?“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0

No unfortunately, although all the people at work want it setup here....! I might do just that when office hours are over. We have a few projectors around the place so that should be good
