Just reading their T&Cs:
This site is owned by Retrowarez.com, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Any purchases made with us mean you have entered into a contract of sale between yourself and Retrowarez.com
By entering into a contract with Retrowarez.com payment will have been processed by Worldpay.com who process credit and debit card payments on our behalf. Your confirmation e-mail upon purchase will come from Worldpay.com and you need to check you have the correct item(s) and contact us immediately if there are any errors. Your payment details will not be passed on to any parties except Retrowarez.com and Worldpay.com
If you managed to pay by Worldpay surely by the own T&Cs you have entered in to a contract of sale which they should honour?0 -
am sure he changeing the wording as we speak0

If, indeed you are the owner of the site, which i seriously doubt, you would no about misleading price indication being an offence. Now the webpage has been properly amended this isn't an issue, but contrary to what you believe, you can't just do what you like! If someone has paid above what they believed they were going to pay, you have a case to answer.DrSteveW wrote:Of course I'm allowed to do it, they're my Wii systems and I am free to sell them at whatever price I see fit. Would you complain if I sold them at £100 and say they were too cheap ?? No of course you wouldn't.:rudolf:0 -
I got my kids one this morning from Game no problem:)
Right now i want an extra Numchuk and remote so where's the best deal for them, anyone know?:)Darren0 -
Complain to worldpay, as I use them as a payment gateway. I have complained about a similiar practice in the past and they don't take it lightly. He could well lose his payment gateway if you complain DIRECTLY to worldpay, with your transaction ID and this forum as reference.
Lets ruin his online 'business' scam and then see who is laughing !!0 -

Well your not very smart at running a business are you. If I had been in your position I would have at least honoured the ones that went through at £179.99. A price which, as you appear to be a genuine business you will be making a significant profit anyway as you will have got the systems at cost.
Then, I would have hiked the price up as lets be honest everyone is out to make as much as they can.
However, the way you have acted now means that anybody who reads this thread will avoid your company when they wish to buy goods. Businesses are supposed to put customers first, even though most don't do it very well they don't perform tricks like this and do have at least an ounce of goodwill. Did you never take business classes?, happy customers will bring you more customers, but just one un-happy customer could ruin your business!.
I hope you also realise had anybody have clicked the submit button at £499.99, but had a screenshot of the price when it went in the basket (£179.99) and you dispatched the goods that person could have complained to their credit card company and you would suffer a chargeback for the difference in price because the consumer protection act is there to prevent businesses behaving in the way you just have.0 -
he's well and truly blew it for his site calling all us penny pinching, there's one thing trying to save pennies, but to be a complete and utter greedy !!!!!!!!!!!!! is another we are not ripping anyone off but he is0

Decided to stop being really thick and logged into my Wollies online account.
The following message was waiting for me:Message From Customer Service 06 Dec 2006
Nintendo have only shipped part of the promised stock for Nintendo Wii to all retailers within the UK. Due to this, we have only received part of our allocation. We are led to believe by Nintendo that we will receive all stock in time for pre-Christmas delivery. Please accept our apologies for this delay.
 Bummer
