Does anyone know where I can pick up the Zelda game for my son. He had pre-ordered it from Play.com but received an e-mail yesterday saying:

Nintendo have just informed us of stock shortages on this item and we regret
that as a result we will be unable to supply your pre-ordered product at launch

As an Official distributor, Nintendo have guaranteed us more stock before
Christmas and we will fulfil your order as soon as we can.

They have given me the option to cancel and wondered whether anyone else has stock.

I ordered from Play.com as it was only £32.99 when I ordered.

    Thanks.

    amazon have it in stock

I already have my Wii and I didn't have to pay over the odds for it, hope you have a terrible Christmas and you find that no one will pay over the odds, for a novelty item. It's people like you who should be banned from money saving sites.
  • Sorry that's "penny pinching" !!!!!! - Goodbye
  • Gonna sound a little thick here, but hey that's me.

Have pre-ordered through Woolies to pick up in local store. Does anyone know how/when we are told it is available.

Email box is sadly devoid of Woolies email (other than original confirmation), so was wondering if anyone knew

Fact of the matter is your even pricing them higher than what they are going for on ebay! I'd be surprised if you managed to sell all of them at £499.

Any who good luck if the future. Here's a book for you to buy:

No idea, I am in the same situation and the Woolies I am meant to be using said they havent had a delivery yet.....

I was also going to ask, what is your status on the Woolworths order page? Mine is still in 'Active Orders' and with a status of 'Processing' for both the game (was on backorder) and console.....

    Hmmm

    The Great Declutter Challenge - £876 :)

  • Oh well back to hoping and waiting with my Woolies order then :(

I've had a full refund from RetroRipOff but no email back explaining it. I've read his posts on here and he just sounds like a nasty rude man so I won't carry on expecting one!

I have screen grabs of all the payment pages but i'm not sure it's worth complaining properly as he is obviously not bothered about ripping people off and it would just be a waste of my time and energy. Oh well you live you learn :(

Might try my luck with Amazon later but don't want to get my hopes up again
