Nintendo WII pre order only £180

I rang woolies customer services and have been informed that mine is on route to store, so barring a disaster it should be ready for collection.
I pre-ordered on Nov 18th, so if anyone ordered before that date and is being told they wont get one make sure you kick up a fuss because i would not like to think it is not done on a first come first served basis.

I was so happy when customer services told me it was on route i nearly cried as my 8 year old boy thinks it wont be available until Easter next year (This is what i told him to avoid disappointment), This will be a wonderful surprise for him.

Really happy for you Gringo, I didn't order mine though until the 23rd Nov as PC World avoided me for so long and I had to cancel my pre-order made with them from the 1st Nov.

As long as I get it before Christmas i'll be happy, if not then I hope Woolies will tell me so I can cancel with them and trek round town instead.

Just rang woollies customer services, my collect at store order is 'En Route To Store' although she was unsure if i would get it tomorrow or not.

I was told this morning, about the same time, that they were still telephoning people and would be throughout the day. I ordered 22 October. I have just got off the phone and have again been told that they have people working throughout the day telephoning customers.

One of us is getting misinformation, and I am inclined to think it is me.

Anyone who has ordered from PCworld, here is the latest I have been told having just phoned them.
Apparently they are in the process of taking payment and despatching Wii's according to the pre-order list. I was told to keep checking both e-mail and CC details as when payment is taken it will then be a couple of days for delivery. The girl on the phone was very helpfull and said that their initial shipment was processed yesterday and that they had another delivery today that was in the process of being despatched, again in chronological order.
She also said that as I had placed my order on 2nd of November I was guaranteed delivery before Christmas, as is anyone who ordered before the 10th of Nov. However she did say that they have had a large amount of calls from people who ordered after the 10th and they are being told that there is no guarantee they will recieve one before Christmas.
Personally I am not too bothered about launch day as it is a christmas present for our son. (Although if it comes before I'll have to make sure it is in working order;) )

I've just checked my Currys online account. The estimated release date is now 31/01/07. I'm not happy.:mad:
