Just checked my account and seem to be down about £180, checked my Amazon order and there was a note:


Dispatching Soon: We are preparing these items for dispatch and this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed

Looks very promising!! Still says estimated delivery 23rd-24th Nov on the order though!

Said they'd try to redeliver on Saturday then Monday if they had to.

I ordered 16th November.

I am shocked that Amazon have been able to not **** up the launch of the Wii they ruined the Xbox 360 Launch.

I am the same at amazon- no money taken yet and no status change on the account. I can't believe that after all the hassle and stress involved in that half hour waiting to order one they might not keep their promise to deliver on the 8th. Am going to ring them at 9.00. :mad:

How bizarre - Woolworths have taken my money for an In-Store delivery ... but Amazon hasn't taken my money yet, even though it's at "Dispatching soon". Oh, and Currys screwed me over on the in-store order (said I was 5th in the list, now say I'm not getting one) - dontchya just love them!
The annoying thing is that when I ordered backups, I was wondering what I'd do if I got multiple consoles - now I need all 3 as friends are giving the spares as Christmas presents!

Out of the 3 orders i placed. This time last week i was getting all 3.

Play, Woolies, HMV

I think i will be lucky to get just one. (HMV)

Play sent me an email saying i would be getting one, But still have not proceed order.

Woolies - Messed up the billing of the order which meant i went to bottom of the list.

I will be complaining big time.

As stupidly i have sold the one, so it means i wont have one myself now. Oh well roll on the same mess with the PS3.

Least when the PS2 was released the order process worked.

Well I've just checked the status of my order. It is still 'ready for dispatch' (has been for the past few days), and that is with Woolies for In-store pickup. The money was taken on December 1st so hopefully I have one on the way. However, I have a feeling they may only dispatch it tomorrow on release date, so I'll need to go down Saturday or Monday to pick it up?
