How did you find out your placing in the queue and what date did you order? I ordered mine on 29th September. My order status briefly changed from On special order with suppliers to ordered with suppliers yesterday but nowe its back to just being special order.

I ordered it on the 29th September too. I phoned up CS and asked what the stauts was and was told I was 50th in the queue. Give them a ring and ask - 0845 603 8576.

has anyone had any luck with gamestation?

I preordered on the 27th november (after cancelling with woolies as they wouldn't switch my order to home delivery) and they state on their website that all wii orders before the 29th november will get one before xmas, my order status is "processing" BUT they don't respond to emails, not even with a standard "your email has been recieved" blah de blah. And my dp ordered a nintendo ds form them on december 2nd, it was showing in stock when he ordered - still not here, he rang them up and they said they were waiting for stock!

Asda in Wigan got 5 in this morning...and I was 10mins late to pick one up!

Anyone have delivery/stock info for the major retailers? I was let down with a Currys pre-order and am desperately trying to get one for christmas.

asda on whitley road benton got 15 in ,hubby had to wait 3 hrs though, to get one, he got there at 9am (some were there from 1am) my hubby was 10th in que so a big to all the games shops that say you've got no chance of getting one till after xmas, everyone keep trying the supermarkets :beer:



oh well i done as everyone suggests....check to see if machine works lol....up to now, golf and bowling cool

I rand them this moring and they said keep ringing back all morning i was on the phone and they said all gone the gits

Like I've said, everyplace has different success/failure stories. I went into the Adsa Aintree at 8am, and there was no queue at all. There was one bloke in front of me who had walked in at the same time as me, and that was it. Maybe no one knew about them coming in.....
I had booked the morning off work to queue up because Iw as told that they might not be sorted from the delivery till 11am, and at 8am they had all ready sold over half of their stock levels. I managed to get into work for before 9 so I'm happy with that, especially as I need firday afternoon off for the works christmas party. But anyway, be wary of what staff tell you, because they don't want everyone turning up in the night because they have less staff on and can't cope with people sitting round.

This was for Wii Play, not the console itself. I ordered it through Tesco, go to their Tesco Direct website and do a search

Just got this message from Woolies:

I pre-ordered on the 23rd. Do you think we might get something out of it if we complain we didn't get one in launch week as guaranteed? £10 voucher or something? Not sure if it's worth the try as i'm not very confrontational!
