To be honest I think the company are getting the easy way out here: If I were to buy a top, washed it and the dye in the top ruined everything else in the washing machine, the company would refund me for the top and compensate me for everything in the washing machine. Companies out alot of money into securing dye-run problems and even have researchers when they have the clothes, test to ensure that the dye came from the clothing. Its serious stuff.

The company (Daz?) should be refunding you by cheque, not some retail vouchers for more of their products! I'm shocked by these results and want to thank you all for reporting this- I will NEVER buy Daz ever now!

Have no fear I will not be letting this drop. The clothes are still yellow and I'm going to be pushing them for compensation for the ruined clothes. It only comes to about £20 but thats MY £20!!
In the meantime I have a £5 voucher for laundry products and £3 off Nice n Easy, but I'm not gonna let this go. Thats what they want but its not gonna happen
They are closed till Monday but I'll be calling them Monday after work and I'll let u know what they say

My bottle is 0189030382 so think they all start in 0, then have 3 numbers, then 030382 ?
    Have't used mine yet.

My batch number is 0197030382. As i said, i didnt have any problem when i used it, the stuff is still white but i'll still be a little nervous about using it on school shirts. I might just use it for washing light coloured towels and bedding, stuff that doesnt really matter, until it's all gone.

I finally managed to get through to P&G this morning and the woman apologised profusely and has arranged a bank transfer of £25 in compensation:beer:

It always worth making the effort to make a complaint.

Nice CS bloke said its probably product build up and if I wash them again after soaking in cold water overnight the colour will come out :rotfl: Yeah, ok, whatever. How can u have product build up after using it once?! :T

He may have been referring to a product build up inside your washing machine over time of using other products and thus had an adverse reaction to your new detergent.

At least you got things sorted and thats the main thing

    Hi,

Just to let you know, I have used the green one today on my bath and toilet mats which were white and they have come out a horrible greeny/blue colour!! Phoned P&G and the man (who was nice) told me they haven't had a single complaint about either the green or the yellow one so wasn't sure what to suggest but was sending me a voucher to buy new powder to see if that removed the colour and if not then I have to ring back and will arrange testing. Again as someone above said, no testing needed you can clearly see it lol.
