I've just used this for the first time (I usually have the Mandarin and Lime one) and its turned my washing yellow:eek::eek::eek::eek:

I put on a load of towels and undies, the towels are cream colour and my undies *were* white. Now they are yellow, or at least the bits with cotton in are. The knickers are yellow all over and the straps and sides of the bras are too  Luckily as the towels were already creamy colour they don't look much different.

At first I thought I'd managed to get a duster in the load but no. All that was in there was the whites. As I say, I've never used this liquid before and won't again. Its very orange in colour when u pour it out.

Should I take it back to Asda? I don't have the receipt cos I got it weeks ago when they were £2. I will take pics of the undies and send to the manufacturer, see where I get with them.

Beware Daz Summer Flower Power liquid, unless u like yellow knickers!!!!

Not sure how to do pics on here :o

They're pretty yellow but have to assume its not every bottle or they'd have had complaints and recalled it surely??

    this happened to me too.
i ended up using it just for the colours and it was fine
    wouldnt buy anymore
  • I work for the company that makes this. There will be a phone number on the back of the pack. Give them a call and they will look into it for you. No doubt you will get some vouchers and probably compo for the damaged clothes, they may or may not ask you to send the damaged clothes to them.

I'm glad its not just me! I did a search but couldn't find anyone else complaining. I've just dared to do a coloured load with it and that's fine, so I'll do the same as u.

Brumb- I'll hang on to clothes in case they want to see them then. Not sure how I feel about sending my undies thru the post but at least they're definitely clean:rotfl:

Just bumping this with an update and wondering if its happened to anyone else?

Nice CS bloke said its probably product build up and if I wash them again after soaking in cold water overnight the colour will come out :rotfl: Yeah, ok, whatever. How can u have product build up after using it once?! Still, I will do as he said tonight and get back to him tomorrow because of course nothing will have changed :(

He is sending me vouchers for more washing liquid and also one for Nice & Easy :T

Its not too late! Give them a call, we like vouchers, very MSE:money:

Seriously, call them. If something's wrong with their product they need to hear about it

To be honest I think the company are getting the easy way out here: If I were to buy a top, washed it and the dye in the top ruined everything else in the washing machine, the company would refund me for the top and compensate me for everything in the washing machine. Companies out alot of money into securing dye-run problems and even have researchers when they have the clothes, test to ensure that the dye came from the clothing. Its serious stuff.

The company (Daz?) should be refunding you by cheque, not some retail vouchers for more of their products! I'm shocked by these results and want to thank you all for reporting this- I will NEVER buy Daz ever now!
