ITV player when will it be on Freesat

Options
Hi, I finally ditched Sky and bought a Humax HD PVR which I am really pleased with and get the BBC and ITV HD channels, also Youtube and BBc i Player, and the Channel 5 version. There has been a lot of talk about the ITV player being added to Freesat with lots of dates mentioned but none materialised, does anyone have any idea if this will go ahead ?

ITV player is online is it not? It would be added to your box when the manufacturer does the deal.

Its nothing to do with the manufacture of the box, what a strange answer.

As you are aware OP this was meant to be the beginning of this year and no news has been heard since.

    .

Lots of streamed content is done by deals with the manufacturers. For example, Panasonic have deals Eurosport to put it on their Viera Cast.

Well that's great but nothing to do with the OP's question.

well those in the know have said on numerous occasions that itv treat freesat shockingly and they have also refused to launch their full channel hd service on any platform apart from sky.

oh and itv player on freesat has been unsurprisingly been delayed regularly for the last 2 years
Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?
