Would it be worth speaking to the family SRM to see if the funeral can be changed. If they know that both you and her other friend wouldn't be able to go for the sake of a day, they might be able to get it changed? Washing machine on - nearly 7p/hr says the OWL - and sky bright so we will be able to clean car and work like slaves today!

I took nytol last night and only woke up about 40 minutes ago! I am stunned, no weird freaky dreams and waking up! of course half the day is gone but hey!
SRM that is a dreadful position to be in. Utterly dreadful. I know when my friend's father died one our friends was going away the day before the funeral and at the time she didn't know what to do(we all grew up together been friends for 20+years). In the end she missed the funeral but she felt dreadful. Sorry I know that isn't helpful at all, not sure why I am telling you except to say that I understand a little of how you feel hugs.xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
SRM, i'm sure your friend would understand your situation and would want you to have your holiday. You could visit her resting place when you return and have your goodbye.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
