E2 Save Cashback - A Happy Story
I signed up to a Mobile Phone Contract through E2Save 6 months ago.. it seemed too good to be true. 18m on Vodafone with 300mins and 300texts for £30.00 per month, with 17 months cashback
That means I'll efectively be paying £1.67 per month for my contract. I was previously paying £25 a month with T-Mobile for less minutes and less texts.
The only downside was the phone they offered, a Nokia 1661 (worth a tenner) but with the money i'd save, I could go and buy any phone I wanted and have lots of change!
I heard all sorts of scare stories on these forums about how E2save are out to scam you, but I had my first cashback coming up. I logged into my account, and they clearly stated which Bill I had to send. I sent it, and the following day got a text to say my claim was successful and my cheque would be in the post within 60 days. A couple of weeks later, a cheque arrives and i'm now well on my way to getting my full cashback! A happy story.
I simply printed my bill off the web, stuck it in an envelope with nothing else and posted it 1st class. It couldn't be simpler.

Hi Reez,
Well done it seems to be working out ok.
Mind you I thought it would go smooth after E2save taking a personal interest in your contract and sending you a message via Admin

All CPW companies recommend some form of recorded delivery so suggesting normal post is not very wise.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0

Claim sent Monday and not tracked yet via Royal Mail again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Complained on phone and nice guy said there had been lots of complaints regarding this Loughborough Admail ADM4118 address.
Some have been sent to Manchester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else having Royal Mail issues??
I've never claimed for a missing signature before, but I will this time - it's getting too regular. Need to wait 15 working days though!!!!!!!!!!!

Well after 4 days it's finally got there, no sig. yet though. :j
I'll still be claiming if I don't get the proof of sig. by using the P58 form. Lot's of hassle, but for them as well.

I think this has been brought up before
I think it was MJ (who seems to be on his hols at the mo) or maybe Quentin ???
Something to do with due to the quantity to sign for they add them to a book and sign at the end of the week or something ???
However it seems it doesn't happen as it's supposed to sometimesIt's not just about the money0 -
Yes it is on another thread somewhere and they do get signed on-mass and not individually.
But it seems to be happening a lot and the nice guy from RM acknowledged issues and advised to put in a claim if no sig. is produced, and I will this time and every other time from now on.
Luckily this is a CPW group company, so they can be trusted.

Guilty .The recorded delivery service claims it is for:If you have an important item to deliver, our Recorded Signed For™ service gives you complete peace of mind with proof of posting and an electronic copy of the signature available online.
I have had much correspondence with RM over their apparent collusion with CPW over not getting a signature.
The RM answer has been along the lines of:
This company gets around 500 to 800 items of mail a day. It is unreasonable to expect them to sign individually for each item, so we leave a list with them to check and sign and return to us at their leisure!
Royal Mail's solution to protests that they fail on their advertised promise to give peace of mind by getting a signature on delivery is to refund the cost of the recorded delivery add on!
The RM solution stinks!0
