I've got a FoxSat HDR but I don't use windows that much, I use Ubuntu instead (and format the USB's using EXT3)

Instead of it saying "new simple partition" it may say "New Simple Volume" (i keep getting those mixed up!) But there should only be a few options that you can click in that "right click" menu...

Here's what I've got & what it says in Disk management.

I've got 2, one of which is my C drive & one that says 'new volume' which is my flash.

In the boxes underneath I've got..

Disk O Basic with 9.7GB unallocated & next to it C which has Primary Allocation Healthy (system)

    Underneath that is..

Disk1 removable New Volume Healthy Primary Partition

If I right click on the unallocated one I get a choice New partition

I hope you can understand this as I can't.

    OK it sounds all good!!

Does it say the size (e.g. 1.82Gb FAT32) of the USB next to the "New Volume"?

If it does then everything is good and you can test it in the FoxSat box..

If not Right-Click on "Disk1 removable New Volume Healthy Primary Partition" Has it got an option to "Format"?

If it has then click on it and follow the wizard...
