Iphone4 voicemail malfunction on 3

I bought an iPhone on 3 last week and since my number has been changed over my voicemail is constantly telling me I have a voicemail when I don't and the red alert dot wont go away!!! Customer service suggested I reset etc, all the usual, and nothings worked and seeing as they don't provide visual voicemail I'm a little miffed!

Has anyone had a similar problem if so how did you get rid of that stupid red dot!!?!?

    Not a fix but I would recommend ditching your networks voice mail service and look at Hullomail. It offers visual voicemail, it can also email you a copy of the message as an mp3 attachment.

    ive downloaded it and will give it a go thanks, but how do i get rid of 3s voicemail?

    If you follow the instructions and use it, it will stop people being diverted to your existing voicemail :)
