suprise suprise, as with the sat nav the other day, I reserved a hand blender at MERRY HILL and just had a call to say "stock decrepancy" either staff are bagging all the stuff for themselves at this store or currys website is appauling - sort it out currys or you will become the new M&S with your stock mayhem...

Did give the woman abit of grief on phone..... sorry if the SA is reading this, but it stinks!!!

I've found this in the past with comet, especially with ps3 games. I've actually travelled out of town before to be told 'I don't know where it is, I'm sure I saw it earlier'. Needless to say comet haven't had any more of my custom since

Sadly, it will just be selected stores as they get rid of the older stock due to re-branding with the new Logik logo - same stock, but at the full price.

I got a hand blender but had a call to say the only one they have is an ex display one with no box or manual. I tried to beat them down on the price but they wouldn't budge and said that they are selling them at a loss and can't sell them for any less. Still, £1.99 is a fantastic price anyways! It also came with a 12 month guarantee and they said they would replace it if it broke - I queried this as they said that it is a discontinued line but they said that they would replace it with another similar one. So quids in all round really Huge thanks to the OP

I was having trouble with a reservation, following a "stock discrepancy" so called Currys customer services who reserved one at a different store for me. A friend made a one and a half hour round trip to collect it for me, only to find when she got there that the store was still under construction and not due to open until 12th August. Hmmm...
I'm avoiding Currys from now on......unless it's a real bargain of course
