But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Morning everyone  really procrastinating about getting ready today, still feeling under the weather but really can't afford to take the time off of work (am just about to come off of 1st stage absence management from last time I was sick) just hoping that paracetomal will get me thru

Moooooooooooooooooooooooorning!
Just done 20 hard mins on the cross trainer - i am a sweaty mess!!!
I am ashamed to say today is not very DFW!!!
:(:(:( I am having my hair cut, then i am taking a long lunch at work to meet my 14 year old sister in a restuarant for food. Then after work i am meeting my best friend for a girly evening. Well we are going to Wetherspoons to have a 3.99 meal and stay in there for a few hours as their drinks are the cheapest in town. So kind of a DFW evening as it could be worse!!
Well today (aside from the above)
check banking
one poll
work out my money
housework this morning
cross trainer - done
finish form i created at home for work - a gesture to show i am not taking the !!!! when i go for a long lunch AND dash out to the hairdresser!!
scratchies
surveys
Not looking forward to work. Tensions are high. I have been warned in advance that they are announcing for us to have proper contracts today due to them not being happy with the other staff! There are only 2 booses and 3 staff. The other day my boss was chatting about his annoyance with the other two saying if he had the time and money he would start over and get rid of 'those two' pointing at the other two desks!!! (they weren't there though!)
So nothing i am personally involved in but i still don't like the tension. Bad feeling in that environment unsettles me!
I hope everyone has a great friday! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxOrange Fairy

DNMS - sorry to hear you are not well. I hope the paracetamol gets you through. I had 3 days of work ill this year which was kind of annoying at i hadn't taken a sick day in 8 years! Since i was 18. I almost went in becuase i didn't want it on my record but i was SO ill and ended up thinking better of it!!! xxxOrange Fairy
