Heres my top tip of the week

If you have consumed a generous amount of alcohol, DO NOT think that it is a good idea to have a conversation on your mobile telephone while having a pee.

Anyway on an unrelated note Can anyone point me to a mobile that is A) cheap as chips unlocked and C)not as important as the other two but maybe has facebook access(whether by app or browser)

Hi there

Have a look on Carphone Warehouse. They have lots of Alcatel phones that have WAP internet access. Buy the phone locked to a network and then spend a tenner getting it unlocked - it's cheaper than buying their sim free handsets!

Alternatively, try play.com as they do LOADS of sim free phones at slightly more than the "network" ones on CPW.

My tip of the day: If you are busting for the loo and need to carry on your conversation, use a hands free kit - on the phone, I mean, not on the ..... errr..... you know...

Thanks Oscar, thats where I've found the best deals at present. I do think their sim free handsets are a right rip off. I seen the Alcatel OT-708 which looks good for the price of 24.95. However the sim free option costs 79.95. :eek: I'll check and see how easy it is to unlock.

If anyone sees any better offers at the moment let me know.

Has anyone ever phoned you up while you were ironing?

Anyway, I had these phone/wee problems back in the early nineties with those very large handsets. Nowadays, with these smaller phones its much easier to distinguish which is which :cool:

The problem wasn't distinguishing which is which, the problem was that I was inebriated far beyond my capabilities, and i thought i could do both tasks simultaneously. Now if I was drunk ad ironing I may well have had an unpleasant outcome.

Indeed. If there isn't one then there definitely should be :rotfl:Or an app to stop you thinking that doing that task is a good idea.
