Faulty Phone - will not refund / change
Purchased a Sony T715 on three pay as you go in Dec 2009
since dec it has been back 3 times for faulty screen and been repaired but within a month goes faulty again.
Just come off phone to 3 and have demanded a refund of a different phone of equal value / specification.
They say as the phone has been used its value has halved and instead of the £90 i paid for it they are offering a basic Nokia worth £40.00.
been through every department and on phone for over an hour and they wont back down.
Iam i in my rights to demand a full refund or a phone of equal value, or do I have to let them keep repairing the same fault time and time again?

My understanding of it is you are within your rights to ask for a full refund but they are within their rights to stump up a reduced amount due to use of the phone esp after a 6 month period.
However if you ask for an exchange of phone esp. as it's been repaired 3 times it has to be replaced by one of a similar spec.It's not just about the money0
