Gah, social worker's just been, a total waste of time. I still need to work out how to make one lot of DLA spread across three illnesses with different care needs. Anyone got a magic wand I can borrow?!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Thanks for the cure GB, I'm feeling better already;)
Thanks spoon;)
Ames, sorry about your social worker not being any help. I don't have a magic wand but hope you get it sorted soon, it seems they are just making things worse for the people that really need it.I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

Thanks BL and 3Dogs. There's no point going to CAB or anywhere, the problem is that they don't see my needs as legitimate expenses. They say that the therapeutic activities are really important, and they'd pay someone to go with me to them (at a cost of about £20), but they wont allow the actual cost of them (between a fiver and a tenner) to be counted on my financial assessment. Madness. Especially since if I can't go to them and use all my money for a carer for my physical needs I'll end up in a really bad way mentally which'll cost other services (NHS etc) a lot more.
So I need to either find other ways of funding the therapeutic activities, or cheaper ways of getting the physical care so I don't use SS.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
 Fred had slipped to page 2!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
