    Hi handy,

I do like my wine, although the most expensive bottle I've ever had was £50 and it was bought for me as a present for my graduation. These days I tend to stick to the £7 - £10 market, although that's from the wine club as you get much better value than the supermarkets and wine shops! If I had a bottle worth £200 I'd probably sell it, as I'd definately be afraid to open it!!

If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!

  • Evening peeps :)

OH and i just bought a bed the other weekend, it is a minefield!!! I don't mind disclosing numbers on it - we paid £250 for a kingsize frame and £280 for a mattress, the frame we got from a normal bedroom furniture shop (i haggled a bit to get the price down by £95!) the mattress we researched by going to bed shops and testing the mattresses out (no not like that you dirty lot!!! ;) ) and then did a bit of looking on interweebly to see what other options there are and then we went to M*kro to buy the mattress as the same one we'd been offered from a shop and online was less than half the price in M*kro! so bargains - we'd saved the money up as i refused to use credit (even though it went on my credit card but i then transferred all the money across to pay it off so i didn't increase my debt mountain!)
Those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter :o
  • wow - you guys talked to much my post about shopping about for mattresses went on to another page! how embarrassing for me!

Statistic 90% of all people are made by accident? or is it 90% of accidents are made by people. Could be the same either way. :D

Somebody requested whiskey last week, so I've provided some of that too (in the virtual sense anyway!).

It has just taken me 1 hour 50 minutes to do one P*necone survey - I would have given up waiting for pages to load but I kept thinking of the £4 going into my PayPal account, and it kept me going till the end

Hate to say it, but we got our last mattress, king size and brand new, from an auction for £50 and it has been great :T or and just remembered that we changed our bedframe last year ...... you guessed it, £3 from the auction .................... :T

Yes, Mine Host has laid on a few bottles for us. I've already had my share in the real world tonight. Feel free to join us in raising a glass or 3.
