You have a competition with yourself Allie to see which one of you could get to post 1500 first - a true member of the NTN gang now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

(our neighbour has one). Terrific dogs aren't they. Each one a different personality. Before I met Mrs H they all slept on the bed with me!:eek:
But 3 snoring farting Labs plus one handy was more than anyone is expected to put up with.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ps I don't snore or fart. :whistle:0 -

i will have a dog one day!!!
Allie before you go, don't get a choccie lab, I love my old lad to bits but each colour has its own personality. Brown labs only have one brain cell
and they can't use it all at once.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually they are that intelligent they are almost impossible to train. If they cant see a reason past eating and sleeping they wont do it.
A chap I knew in North Yorkshire called his choccie Bisto. When I asked why? he said cos he's Brown and incredibly thick!
He loved him to bits none the less. Hope you get a dog soon, I would recommend a Border Terrier or a Jack russell any time.:A

As much as id love to turn my house into a dog sanctuary i dont have the spare cashor a big enough flat at the moment!!!
i think we're more likely to get a smaller dog like a jack russell or a wee terrier, maybe even a whippet or something like that as it would be the first dog OH and I have ever had - steep learning curve i think!!! either that or it'll be the size of a horse as i am a little in love with great danes and irish wolfhounds:D:D:DThose that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter0 -

Terriers don't cost much to feed if you only have one, at the moment my 3 cost more a week to feed than me. I must get them off the caviar and champagne diet!:rotfl::rotfl:
It sounds daft when people pay hundreds of pounds for a pedigree dog why breed charities are always looking for homes. My oldest terrier bonnie came from Border Rescue. If you wanted a Wolfhound there is a charity for them as well.

I have 2 labs, 1 black 1 yellow. Couldn't be more different either, 1 is a mad sod (like me) the other is very quiet. On a side note i notice Tixy is AWOL, hope she is ok.:D
I noticed Tixy's missing as well, Swanny. She wasn't very well but I think she was also talking about taking some hols in August - think she had some time off booked. Hope everything's OK.The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
