Will Thomson holiday get cheaper?

I'm looking to go away with Thomson on 8th August. Last week the price dropped by £100, so I held off booking in the hope it would reduce further. On Monday it went back up by £100. Today it has dropped by £30. I have tomorrow & Saturday left to book it - what are the chances of them lowering the price?

I've searched online sites for cheaper options but none are cheaper than Thomson. Is it worth phoning to see if they'll lower the price?

Is that per family or per person?

    Per person (2x adults).

ETA: It's currently at £962 each.

If it's already the lowest price then i would be inclined to phone them, ask what else they can offer you, further dicount, free insurance, car hire, flight upgrades, transfers etc and then go from there.

Would you be annoyed if you looked tomorrow and it was £30 dearer or would that be ok?

i'd say haggle over the phone and then go for it if it's the cheapest. But squeeze everything out of them first :rotfl:
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

That's a small percentage, depends how much you want the holiday.

I'd be annoyed but not half as annoyed as if I book it tonight & find it reduced by another £70 each tomorrow! :rotfl:

I'm gonna wait... It's more exciting this way! And then I'll try haggling. ;)

There are other options for accommodation so I'm sure something will be available if this hotel goes (but it is rather nice!).

A lot of people get paid on Fridays, so someone might be waiting til the morning to book it.

How much are the alternatives on your reserve list?

Unfortunately I'm not that restrained! Although maybe I'll be too busy madly packing to have time to go online.
