Want to change from dial-up to broadband - who is cheapest / best?

I really need to get rid of my painfully slow dial-up connection!

I had been thinking of going with euro1 (thank god I didn't!).

I'm looking for the cheapest uncapped provider - who is best?

I've just made the change from dial-up to broadband, after much research and requests for advice here and elsewhere.
Since I changed a month or so ago it's all changed again, so very difficult to recommend where to try.
