Worth chasing up with your electric company as lots of them are giving away free energy monitors at the moment - husband's driving me nuts with his freebie one.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

I often also change my clothes 3 times a day - or even more than that shock horror!poppysarah wrote: »I can not imagine changing that many times a day.
You should get a bib maybe?
I will put on a set of clothes in the morning to walk the dogs which usually get muddy or wet, then change into work clothes, then change into evening clothes to walk the dogs again and if I am going out for the evening another set of clothes is used. No bibs required and 4 sets of clothes without spilling anything down my front!!If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
i am pleased to report that following a chat it seems that washing is being put on the line. obviously i don't know what happens whilst i am at work but at least it is a start.
there still seems to be a massive amount of washing going on but i am happier that the tumble dryer is being given a break!!
i will have to get an energy monitor as with the amount of washing she does then the tumble dryer will be used in winter - we won't have enough radiators and with the amount of washing i dont want the house getting damp!it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
If you think she is likely to still be your tenant come the winter, and you want to consider an alternative to the tumble dryer (albeit not a cheap upfront one), I've bought a heated dryer from Lakeland:

It does get stuff dry more quickly than standard line airers, doesn't seem to cost a bomb to use, and frees up your radiators for heating the house whilst not costing what a tumble dryer would do.0
