£150 for a phonecall, can I complain?

This wasn't an option. I had all my info but I was being incorrcetly directed to different depts to sort out their mistaks. It was the time on hold that caused the huge cost. There is no email option available for this either. Phone only.

perhaps take it up initially with your HR deparmtment and see if they are willing to assist. Also, suggest (heavily suggest!) that they change this staff only number to a "normal" dial number (ie an 01/02 number).

The subect of changing the number has already raised concerns with staff, but it's not getting changed!
I'm going to complain to Customer Relations, but not hopeful. Someone suggseted Ofcom, to complain about the length of time on hold, but will need to look into this further.

I've been in tears all morning as £150 is more than a weeks wages for me. But that could be hormones as I've just had a baby!
