quite a few phones allow cloud to device features.

on android you need froyo 2.2 for most of the features but some apps allow it on lower versions too.

i am not sure of many are aware of such features, I find them useful and hence mentioning it here.

see links for some reviews of the 'cloud to device' feature on android and see videos on some of the links on how this works.

you can find loads more reviews and links on google and youtube.

you can download the chrome extension for your computer and firefox extension for your computer and apps for you phone on the following links

http://code.google.com/p/chrometophone/downloads/list

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/161941/

you can get 'android to cloud' app too on the web / market

other similar apps are linkpush, paperless list, etc i havent tried all of them, but have downloaded them and will try them over the weekend, but have successfully used chrome to phone to push stuff to my phone with a click of a button from chrome browser on my home computer. you can push links, maps, google navigation directions, phone numbers, etc. i havent tried all of them though. i am exploring the uses myself. it is free to download.

explore the uses and inform me too how you find it. i feel this is a relatively new and underused and not well known feature in android but has got tremendous potential. Just like Jack Bauer in 24 gets all the latest data pushed to his mobile from his office colleagues, so too can you get a shopping list pushed to your phone at work from your wife from her computer elsewhere! :p no more 'forgetting' buying stuff on your to do lists :o or even if you forget an address etc it can be pushed to your phone from elsewhere. check it out and let me know how you find the feature. you can push from google chrome and firefox browsers. i have tried pushing succesfully from chrome, but have not yet tried the firefox option although have installed the extension.

i havent yet tried the android to cloud app although installed it as it is the reverse method and not much mentioned on reviews.

ps: have a look at a recent prototype launched in india by the govt for low cost computing (android based device) and due for release in 2011 costing 35$ (1500rupees) to produce presently and aimed to reduce costs to 20$ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G62EiyUyj8A&NR=1 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07RcRLrxzyA&NR=1 and also this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07RcRLrxzyA&NR=1 :eek::eek::eek:
