Do all phones from CPW come unlocked?

Quick question, do all phones from Carphone Warehouse come unlocked, usuable with most/all networks, just something a friend said.

i.e so say I wanted to buy a phone on O2 and it cost £99 on O2 and the same phone on Orange cost £79, could I buy the Orange "one" and still use my O2 sim card

My daughter's phone from CPW wasn't unlocked but I do know a great unlocker at Bathgate market, MSE's own Groover

If its a Nokia its easy unlocked yourself by getting a code from the Unlocking Nokia thread

Just browsing really, I got a Siemens CL75 Poppy, had it a month and still not liking the menu system and it is too slow. I am missing nokia!

Quite like the 6111.

My brother in law is on O2 (sim PAYG) and he went instore for a phone, salesperson told him (quietly)that they actually come unlocked so buy the cheapest network, which he did and it worked!

As oppose to buying the handsets from the Networks, they get them from 20:20 logistics which is much cheaper for them, and these are unlocked.

If the phone comes with a SIM in the box, its locked
