Galaxy S - Keeping Tabs On Data Use
Exhortation

A colleague of mine has just got a Galaxy S. Can anyone please tell me if it's possible for her to see how much data she's downloaded in the same way as someone can with an iPhone? Or does she need to access her account online to see this? It's not a phone I'm familiar with so I didn't want to start poking around in Settings or anything.
Thanks in advance.

There are various apps you can download which will keep tabs on data use. I use '3g watchdog' on the galaxy s. Its free through the market app on the galaxy.0

Stats is a great app for exactly this purpose. Not only does it track data, it also tracks calls and texts You can set it up to reset the info to coincide with your billing cycle, too. It also has the ability to cut off your data connection should you get near to your limit (you can set the limit on it, along with text and call limits too). Also tracks your wifi usage, as well!In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
