Amazon UK technical error resulting in spam... 'what can I get'?

Amazon UK have been sending me an automated email up to three times an hour since 10pm last night. I complained about the spam, and they have written back and said they are "aware of the problem" and "developers are working on a solution".
As they have acknowledged they are sending me spam, and as the spam is still arriving until they fix it, I think I may be a little greedy here (seeing as it's Amazon, and all). What would be the best way to approach them for a voucher, or some kind of 'gift' for the pain in the neck they're causing me...? Do I have any rights at all?
Thank you!

I would hope for at least £10,000 and a backrub with extras.
However, in the real world, you don't deserve anything over an apology, it has not inconvenienced you at all, it is not 'a pain in the neck' and you IMO are being greedy.0 -
Amazon:- Our very last offer speedbunny -- a knee in the temple and a dagger up the clitoris!
Speedbunny: That's very tempting, I've never had one up there before! No, I'll still have the blow on the head.0 -
It's spam. Ignore it! Why do you think you should be 'compensated' for your spam folder filling up slightly more quickly than usual? I suppose you could try to charge them for the time it takes you to <highlight_message_press_delete> but half-pennies no longer exist."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Sorry - but exactly which is the Spam ??0

Try turning off email alerts and updates etc. Then only emails you should get are order updates, which you cant really call spam if they send 3 emails or so.0

Yes, you're being a little greedy.0 -
Are you taking the Mick?
What have you suffered because of this. I hate spam like anyone but sometimes problems arise. An apology is all what you should get0 -
Amazon UK technical error resulting in spam... 'what can I get'?
A Life....0 -
I would take them to high court and sue the pants of them
My answer is about as good as your silly request for lose or pain you have suffered as a result of spam
Better still get off the net if your that sensitive0 -
What exactly is the email they keep sending you?
What makes you think it's spam? There definition of spam is bulk mail sent indiscriminantly for commercial purposes. Is this what they are sending you? Does it contain adverts for viagra?
A technical error would probably mean that it isn't spam.0
