I'll bet your sister and niece will have a great time with Coco; I agree, she doesn't sound like the sort of dog who would settle in kennels, from what you've told us of her. Have a good time!:ojackieglasgow wrote: »My lovely sister and niece are watching the dog. I had thought about asking LameWolf to take her, but I feel bad putting her in the car for so long, and she wouldn't cope in kennels at all with all the other dogs.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon All
Weather can't make up its mind today one minute it is grey and loks like rain andthe next it is bright and sunny.
Not done much today because my knees are really sore and I can't stand for very long or sit for very long without being in agony and the tramadol hasn't really kicked in today so I am just doing bity bits.
Dinner tonight is pork chops with sweet potato chips and sweetcorn and I have got chicken breast with garlic butter on top and salad.
Watch that back JackieG and I hope you enjoy your trip. Poor coco I bet she will miss you x

Ah well my plans for tonight have changed
one of the party is ill and she has cancelled, along with 2 others which means there will only be 2 people I vaguely know at the meal so I'm not going. I was looking forward to the chinese but kinda glad to have saved myself £20 and the petrol
just gotta decided what to have for dinner now.
I've been productive since being home though. I've washed dishes and cleaned kitchen, hooved throughout and tidied away all my laundry (a big feat! :rotfl:), plus put another load in WM ready to wash overnight.
Off to rummage for dinner

That wasn't a hint LaneWolf, honest! I was going to ask you to pm the name of the organisation who organises your boarders for future reference though, please! XIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Hello Chums had the boys today to look after. My super Son-in-law had to go to a meeting and the least I could do was look after the kids.they were very good We went to the cinema this afternoon and saw Shrek which the kids loved. then as a special treat to mcD's for an ice cream.then home to have a noisy game of cards.i have just got home and I'm about to go and forage for some dinner, although to be honest I'm not really very hungry at the moment so I may just have a sandwich and a cuppa and a feet up for awhile.I have been reading Steven kings lastest book from the library its called 'Under the Dome' and its quite good although very long about 870 odd pages but I must get it finished before next week when I'm off on my hols.Right the kettle calls ,have a good evening everyone

Evening everyone
Weather today has been cold but fine, managed to get some washing dried thank goodness.
Just taking 5 minutes out before I recommence with the boxes. Spent the day cleaning again as there were 2 prospective tenants coming to view. Managed to get a local company to do the removals for a 230 mile trip at £510 total although I am not taking any big furniture or appliances apart from the trampoline and 2 beds. I thought that was a pretty good quote for the distance and they are taking the trampoline and beds to pieces and then reassembling them.
Need to put a few items on ebay tonight to see if they will go before I move, if not local charity shop will get them. DS2 is getting fed up as he just wants to be outside at park or riding his bike, but have to get all my packing up done and decluttering before next friday.
NPM - Hope your ds is coping with the holidays.
Bitsy - So agree re the stress of the holidays.
DG - Have sent you a PM, hope you received it.
I know someone a while ago wanted the recipe for peppar and spinach oven baked risotto but can't remember who it was, will try and post it tomorrow.
Well I'd better get a move on, need to wash pots and want to do a bit more sorting and boxes tonight. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone in need. Take Care.
