    Hi All,
    .

I made the discs as per instructions as I didnt get any with the laptop. I put these on 4 CD's, I saved all of my stuff to my external hard drive then put the discs in. I dont know if they did anything as just a box popped up and they didnt seem to run at all.

The processes amount which were running when I first posted are the same now. My Itunes has deleted loads of tunes and will not let me add any more saying I dont have permission. Even the copy I put on my external drive is saying the same, so a bit of a mess.

Theres loads of info been given but Im not very good at all of the tech stuff I can use a computer well, but not the system stuff, so a lot of it is going over my head, sorry if that sounds dumb, but thats the truth.

Thanks again to everyone who has posted on here, it really is appreciated.

An easy way to speed things up is to use ccleaner /tools/startup and disable most of the progs in the startup list- you can always enable them if needed and it doesn't delete any progs you may use ,it just stops them running in the background. Guess you will need antivirus, firewal, wireless progs to start- anything else you just start when needed ,by opening the prog.

Pretend that you are back at school....

Instead of just writing, "I made the discs as per instructions...."; create a link or copy the instructions here so that we can see which instructions that you may have followed.

Similarly, "I put these on 4 CD's.... then put the discs in. I dont know if they did anything as just a box popped up and they didnt seem to run at all. "....also doesn't tell us much.

Did you decide not to follow any instructions at this time? If you did, which instructions did you follow?

If you want us to help you with accurate instructions, you have to explain what you are doing, accurately.
