What are 3 playing at???
I begrudgingly upgraded my 3 contract in mid june from
750 x-network mins
150 text s
50 pic or vid messages
50 video mins
£5 free downloads
£16 per month, 18 month contract
To
500 x-network mins or text
500mb (“unltd”) internet
Unltd 3-3 calls
£25 per month, 24 month contract
All to get the HTC desire. They wanted to charge me £240 if i stayed on my previous contract and couldn’t decide if they would charge me for internet or not.
Anyway today I got a call from their “benefits department” saying as I wanted to leave but had stayed and was a loyal customer (previously has a loyalty discount), I could receive a discount on my line rental. Now I get my package for £22 per month. However, I enter into a new 24 month contract starting today. Not sure i’m happy about that. Even though i do save over the term of the contract, £22 by my calculations, I’ll have to wait even longer to upgrade.
