EFH broadband

Hi all

I wondering if anyone is using EFH broadband and could tell me what they think about the service?
Im currently with tiscali and as you all know they're a complete mess and I've finially had enough and want to switch.
I have had a look at forums on adslguide.org and theres mixed reviews but those were outdated. So any information about this isp would be great!

They're offering 8Mb with 15GB cap(£1/GB if u go over) for £18.99, which seems reasonable.

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi
Cant find anything about EFH broadband on the forums, so can't say how good/bad they are, sorry.

Have you looked at Freeola, 3mth trial period, upto 8mbs, 30gb on peak, 300gb off peak upload/download limit per mth, UK tech support, free activation, Entanet reseller, who have quite a good rep, for £14.99mth, then reverts to £24.99 then you could migrate to another isp like UKFSN, another Entanet reseller, 1mth contract same upload/download limit as Freeola, upto 8mbs, for £19.99

If you go to the Entanet forum, on the adslguide, you'll see what their customers are saying about them.

    Hope this helps
  • Hi,
I was with EFH last year and the connection became very bad so I migrated away.If you check on their forum here
you will find that the early part of the year was very bad for customers with the service they recieved. The posts for April should give you an idea of what went on.I am not sure how it is going there now as I don't visit the forum anymore but after reading what went on you will, perhaps, have a clearer picture of whether they are for you.
I went to Freeola who, dare I say it,have been first class with my connection and customer service. Freeola link here

I was with them for 2 years, started off at £9.99 for 512k which was very cheap back then :) then upgraded to 2mb unlimited for £19.99.

The only problem i had was mentioned above when it was very slow in January other than that ive had no problems over the 2 years.

The customer service is a freephone number and usually answered in a few seconds ive only called about 3 times, but have been impressed with the service i received and even had a call back to check things were running ok.

I only moved because i got the £9.99 AOL deal otherwise i would have stayed.
  • thank you all so much, I really appreciate it. I'll take a look at the efh forum and freeola.

I've been with them since the 9.99 deal a couple of years ago - no major probs - you can at least get through to speak to someone if you need to-

    I would still recommend them.

  • Ditto - I've only had a few short of outages (a couple of hours max) in the past 2 years, and most were due to BT.

Other than that, speed and reliability have been very good and the only time I've ever needed to speak to them on the phone, they actually answered straight away and gave me spot on advice.

My brother also uses them and has been very happy with service and reliability also.
