just make sure if you go easyjet go exactly when it says you need to go... sounds sillly but easyjet are major fussy what time you arrive at the airport give it plenty of time or you may find your seats arnt avaliable when you arrive (ive had this)

Nothing silly about it at all. Forty minutes is the clearly stated minimum check-in time (not 30 or 35). If people don't get there in time, that's down to them. TUFF really !!! Why should all those who have endeavoured to arrive on time be penalised ?
Those people who arrive late etc are those who then slate the airlines. Absolutely nothing wrong with Easyjet or Ryanair as far as i'm concerned.

I'm not being funny, but if BMI have cancelled their Paris flights, there will be a lot of people looking to get replacement tickets, thus lots of people will be booking Easyjet asap. If they are affordable, i'd book those seats before they go, procrastinating will only cost you more money.

DH and self booked 3 flights to Alicante from Teesside, DD booked one in February for self and 3 children. Just had to pay over twice as much to re-book with Jet2 from Leeds Bradford. Sadly, DD unable to afford re-booking at these prices. Do you think that it is because BMI Baby's flights were so much cheaper that they have not been able to sustain flights from Teesside? The official line is that they are closing down operations due to lack of passengers, but we have used them to travel to Alicante and back ever since they started the flights, and there was rarely an empty seat. Could be the other destinations don't do so well. What annoys me, though, is the fact that I had an email from them just the day before yesterday about cheap flights and Alicante from Teesside was still available then.

Doesn't look like easyJet are going to do one of their 'to the rescue' offers, I think they would of announced it by now.
