New to UK. Which deal?
Hi
My wife has just moved to live with me here, in Manchester.
She would like to get a mobile and if possible include calls to her family in Germany.
She has no bank account here yet, which may be a problem.
Can anyone advise us on what might be a good plan of action?
I have inclusive international calls on my business contract with T-Mobile and hope to find a personal contract which may have similar allowances.
Thanks for any help.
Brian.

Usually phone cards, or online companies where you use a prefix before dialling, are the cheapest way to call abroad. This is usually about 1p a minute to German (or US, Australia, etc) landlines or mobiles. Probably way way cheaper than using your landline or mobile directly. I imagine if it even was possible to find an inclusive calls package abroad, it'd be super expensive, but I don't know much about mobiles.
I did a quick google and found a company that charges 1p a minute from UK landlines and 10p a minute from UK mobiles. My housemate is signed up with a company that is similarly cheap and all UK calls, anytime, are free (that's from a landline though).0
