Through a combination of high call charges and deception.0

I never ring back strange numbers! If its not in my phone book its nobody I want to talk to! Simple realy!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

I got a call like this morning from 07099881852.
When I dialled it back it was a 'ringing out' tone.
This was probably a recording and I was already connected to the premium rate number.
So I now ignore 'missed number calls', unless I know the number.0 -
We had several of these one day last week. When we picked up the receiver it said something like:
'BT messenger service for 070......... press 1 to hear message.'
Well, we didn't. Our children either attend local school, who would call on their behalf, or the big 'uns either have mobiles, or use 0800 reverse.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0 -

[They were had up by the ASA because they didn't tell people this on the adverts they had in the telephone kiosks...their defence (thrown out) was 'people can check out the prices on our website'!!!!!!!!
[If your big 'uns (oooh, err missus, titter yee not) are doing 0800 reverse a lot it might be cheaper to buy them a PAYG mob.0 -

I'm the same, if its important enough the person calling would leave a message on my voice mail or ring back, otherwise I just ignore missed numbers unless I know who its from.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 126 :j

Ta BFG. The little rotters do indeed have PAYG, and what do they do with 'em? Use all their bloomin' credit on mates stuff, and reverse call us.
To be fair though, they do get told off if it's not an emergency. They do also have system. When it asks for their name, they say something like,
'I'm at the bus stop,''I missed the bus.'
We then refuse the charges, and either go pick them up, or call their mobiles.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
