  • I know that the leaflets say that the iphone4 is excluded from the double up deal, but has anyone picked up a 3G PAYG iphone? If so did you get it instore or have to order via direct?

    Thanks!

Buying a mobile phone but was wondering. the T&C say your order must be more than the vouchers. The phone is £39.xx and Ime getting £40. Will the order be rejected or will i simply not get any change? (suppose I could always add a memory card but dont really need one!)

You wont be able to buy it.

You need to spend £40 or more to use £40 worth of vouchers.

Most poeple are getting vouchers for just under the amount ie £30 and paying the £9.xx in cash.

I changed up some £35.00 and bought two items of bedroom furniture in the Direct Clearance sale. However I wanted to buy a cradle charger for my IPhone in the car but she said she did not think it was in the offer. In the leaflet it says no IPhone 4 phones but it does not mention IPhone accessories but if you look on the net it says it does include IPhone accesories. Dont want to change vouchers and then not be able to use them. The assistant said it is a bit if a shambles as nobody seems to know what you can and cant buy.

I had that probem too but drove another 3 miles to another tesco and it worked fine!
Doubled up £10 to £20 and used a £3 voucher to get a rug reduced from £80 to £40 in the sale so cost me £17. Good size wool rug and after doing a google search find it retailing at up to £100 at other retailers. V happy.
    Good thread OP.

Just reduce the amount of coffee you add. Its trial and error to get the right amount to suit your taste buds.

I doubled up £20 of vouchers at the weekend and put the £40 towards a king bedframe that was reduced from £165 to £49.XX, leaving only £14.XX to pay. Very pleased:D

I also doubled up £20 of vouchers and used them on pet food and treats instore, so that is the dog sorted for the forseeable future as well.

I went to get my £25 converted to £50 but the lady made a mistake as I wanted it online rather than instore. Anyway in the end she gave me a £50 gift card so can spend it on anything!
Am tempted on the iphone 4 but not sure if its available yet on pay as you go via Tesco? Got another £13 of vouchers so a new iphone 4 32gb comes to £507 then just jailbreak it to use my Vodafone sim... hmmmmm....
