    hi,

    i went instore yesterday,
i used a £10 voucher & doubled it to £20 for a Pet voucher - i checked first that they had enough of the pet food & treats i wanted then went to the customer service desk to change my points over - she gave me 2 £10 vouchers and one to say what she had done,
the lady asked instore i said yes and asked if i could buy a certain brand pet food/treats with them, she said to make sure spend the full amount of over - i spent £21 so used both vouchers and paid £1.

when i went to the direct counter to pick something up i did notice a bloke had exchange his voucher but forgot to tell the lady he wanted to use it online, the sales assistants didnt really know what to do to change it, i dont think they could change it.

im going to go to a bigger store & have a look at either the clothing or baby stuff but i will make sure i choose what i want before exchanging my vouchers as it seems you cant change them back, if no clothing or baby stuff i fancy i`ll be stocking right up on dog food!

A lawnmower. It was a better model than we were going to buy if we were paying cash.

    How is this a graabit.

I could understand the thread if it was similar to the wine promo last year where you could exchange your vouchers for wine or champagne and buy wine or champagne that had 100's of points on them. That was a grabbit.

This thread only has any relevance is someone spots a great bargain, not a list of everyones shopping habits.

I dont normally jump on people for starting pointless threads but theres loads of tesco threads around at the minute, we dont need another one clogging up the board.

I think this thread is a great idea.

There is a great deal of confusion around as to exactly what you can get with the double up scheme - even the staff themselves don't seem to know!

If anyone manages to get a shed please let me know!!

    Thanks

    Did you pick one up?

Can you tell me if the sheds are included?

    Thanks
  • There is a lot of confusion regarding what the vouchers can be spent on. I wanted a bedframe, spoke to staff at tesco, they were really helpful but didn't really have a clue if it was included. After a lengthy phonecall, she found out divan's and mattresses were included but not not bed frames. The leaflet states 'furniture' this is what confused us.
Anyway i doubled up for clothing and bedding so was pleased with my lot!:)

Sounds like the leaflet is just as vague as the website and the staff!!

How can the bed frames not be classed as furniture!

The impression I got from the guy who rang me from Tesco is that it is not clear to anyone, staff included, and that he was going to suggest that they put it by each item if it is included in the double up or not.

It is a grabbit as the offer is for a limited time and it allows you to purchase many items at half price (albeit in clubcard vouchers).
