    Hi there
Thanks.. What started for me,as just abit of advice on here, has actually now turned into a bombshell in a way.
I thought that if this was the cause, why couldn,t it have been picked up sooner, or is it one of those things that are hidden.
I know the consultant said the only reason he was unsure was that he had not put weight on or lost any, usually with cushions disease the neck of the patient gets more weighty but in his case, it hasnt.
I am awaiting an appointment for to see some one in the endecrow not sure on the spelling on that one.
But they will tell me more and the next steps etc.
But he did say if all tests are posotive the operation could be done for the fatty tissue as it would be then under cushion disease then.
But i still have a while to find out all the tests and if it is or if it isnt .
Phew sorry about the long note, but its all a new direction for me scary for him and for me i just want him to be wiser as to what he may have to cope with, and what happens next.
    thanks once again

Once you have a diagnosis your consultant should be able to provide you with the name of a support group for people with Cushings - you could also google but the danger of doing this is that you will be overwhelmed with information, which, until you have a definate diagnosis is irrelevant. Good luck - at least you will soon know what the issue is rather than speculating.

I hope you get it sorted out.. try to give your son confidence by not drawing attention to the issue..

Can you do some exercise to help develop his muscles all over his upper body at all? What about rugby? the lads/men usually are quite 'chunky' up top? (sorry if that sounds odd).

p.s Why do people have to criticise punctuation and grammar so much? I'm sure it isn't that hard to work out what the poster is saying.
    9/70lbs to lose :)
