I don't keep any bank details in my Paypal account, as soon as I pay for something I delete the card details immediately. I don't trust paypal as far as I could throw them when it comes to securely storing my details.
Another thing that reallly irritates me is this Ebay insistance that you 'have to offer paypal as an option for security reasons" - do they honestly think people can't see through that. I put NO PAYPAL in font 72 if I am selling anything, personally I have always found cash to be pretty secure when large items are being collected :-)0 -
I was astonished to receive one of these Emails, moreso as I dont have a Paypal account.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
"Marleyboy you are a legend!"
MarleyBoy "You are the Greatest"
Marleyboy You Are A Legend!
Marleyboy speaks sense
marleyboy (total legend)
Marleyboy - You are, indeed, a legend.0 -

I've never had fake ones from paypal but i have had plenty from banks that i dont bank with :rotfl:
For someone who is familiar with the web, its quite easy to spot the fakes. But i imagine someone with no security features (even something as simple as a phishing filter) and little/no experience online, it may seem entirely reasonable.
After all, would the scammers still do it if there was no benefit to it?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Daft email makes no sense anyway!!If you recently noticed one or more attempts your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you
Doesn't get much more obvious.0 -

Thats OK, if it has reached a price I am happy with I also email the bidder and ask if he wants to buy it outside ebay :-) They already have their listing price, they can make do with that0
