Are the paypal phishing mails coming around again?

Will make a change from the emails from HSBC saying that my account has been suspended due to unusual activity or emails from Natwest saying they are updating security so would I be kindly enough to confirm some details for them (neither bank I use)

Did you stop for a minute to think that the website you have entered fake details on could have downloaded computer nasties onto your computer?

    Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

    Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com

That makes little difference as even if you send what are definitely genuine Paypal emails to that address they report them as spoofs.

The most obvious way to identify a real PP email is PP will always address it to you personally. e.g. Dear Fred blogs

Never click on a link. Always log into your Paypal account directly (not via a link)

    I really wouldn't bet on that :D

But yes, never click on any link in spam. It tells them that your email address is still live, as I seriously doubt they give a toss that someone doesn't approve of their scam.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine
