Breakfast Cereals - how to cut the cost and keep the taste?

Our local Farmfoods sell branded cereal at about half the price of supermarkets. We were buying Kelloggs Krave at £1.29 recently and that's £2.49 in Tesco. The only problem we have is that they don't seem to always stock the same cereals but our Farmfoods is very small.CC Debt at LBM Nov 08 - £25000+ DFD Dec 2012Second DFD May 2021Starting my MFW journey: Opening Balance: £138,000; July 2019: £135107.33; July 2024 £52974.602025 MFW #360

All taste EXACTLY the same... even better in the case of the bran flakes. I usually pay around £1 per 500g box of each of those cereals. I'm not sure on the more 'yummy' cereals though.
Edit; Tesco standard and not value versions.
This is what my OH says about Shredded wheat too, he actually moans if i cant get to tesco and have to buy the real thing!0 -

Oh is it just me or does anyone else find tesco really expensive for cereal?
Do you drive Mazzy? My lot eat cereal by the box full and I got sick of paying for branded names when they just hog it down, doesn't even touch the sides lol so now I tend to go to Asda once in a while and stock up on cereal, it's £2 for 2 boxes own brand on alot of kids type cereals, coco pops, krisspies etc etc x0
