Asda 'High Bran' taste better thatn Kellogs All Bran and its a £1 for a 750g box, BONUS!

Apart from that we eat branded cereal but only get whats on offer, or a big box of Weetabix

As others will tell you buy supermarket own brand and you will save mega bucks. If your family members are food snobs and say they will only eat well known overpriced brands then maybe try a taste test.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I ran out of Coco Pops so bought Tesco Choco Snaps instead hoping my 11 year old wouldn't notice.

    She did.

I now have to buy Tesco Coco Pops as she says she prefers them to the branded ones!

I buy store branded cereal and transfer them into plastic cereal containers - you can't what make they are then (as long as you get rid of the packets in the recycling bin!).

  • According to DS & OH, Tesco's rice crispiesarecompletely tasteless but Co Ops are fine. DS can't eat Kellogs Rice Krispies as they are not gluten free.

  • Asda + Tesco value Bran Flakes for me taste just like any other (and for just under 80p per 750g). Works out well for me moneywise too as I can get through a box every 6 days

I think you can definetly tell the difference with coco pops, the cheaper brands are not as nice as kellogs, however i like Fruit and Fibre and much prefer the supermarket own brands.. so i think that some are better than others, its just a case of trying them out

I know someone who kept the empty brand named cereal boxes and transfered the plastic bags from the non brand ones and they didn't notice. :rotfl:
