Going on holiday, leaving car.

2 weeks is nothing, I don't think I've driven mine for about that long now, yet I'll expect it to start first time when I next want it.0

The only thing that will go wrong is the battery, if at all. Have you got AA/RAC cover? Its £9 using TopCashback for the whole year, for simple peace of mind in situations like this0
-
reverse into the car park space as if the battery does go flat its far easier to get jump leads on if the car is facing out rather than facing a wall.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0

It'll be fine!
Just don't forget to turn the lights off...0 -
Two weeks isn't usually a problem, otherwise airport carparks would let you pre-book the jump-start at a discount

Don't worry, and enjoy your holiday!import this0 -
just don't rely on the car running the day you arrive home, order a Tesco shop to be delivered instead.
just kidding , in all the times we've gone and left the car there's never been a problem when we came back. Best to give it a decent run round the block with no aircon before and after you leave though, like another poster said, it's the battery charge that will be abit weaker.
Go and enjoy your hols!!:)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

2 weeks shouldn't be a problem, but if you're worried, stick a set of jump leads in your boot... I usually leave a set in mine permanantly, though I've only needed them once myself.0
-
If you are worried there is no harm in disconnecting one of the leads from the battery.
PROs - your car will start next time, will delay theft (if they can work out it is a battery issue)
Cons - the clock will have to be reset along with your pre-set radio stations."I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0 -
i left my car behind for 6 months when i came back to it all that was wrong was the tyre air had gone to bottom quick drive around the block and deflating and reinflating tyres at petrol pump fixed the problem0
