TV is shutting down Sky + Box

Can you tell me why this is happening? when I turn my TV off, it shuts down the Sky box, and when you turn the TV on, the box comes on, but you have to wait for it to boot up.

Is there away to solve this?

Is it Sky+ HD? Becuase I know some TV's connected via HDMI can shut down the box, it's a case of adjusting the settings on the TV to rectify it.

Nope, its just a normal Sky + box, though the TV is HD.

Scart control? You can toggle this option in the Sky box settings.

Is it a new problem?
I had this problem with a new Amstrad SkyHD box when it was connected to my Tevion (Aldi) TV. The Sky engineer tried another Amstrad box but it did the same thing, so it was a clash between the Sky box and the TV remote. Changed HD box for another brand (Thomson, I think) and it all works perfectly now. Sky have asked me for the specs of my TV to pass on to their Technical team.
