well bug ger me with a broomstick. He is the man indeed. His ginger mop has grown a bit, but I would never forget that handlebar mustache.
is there lots of used clingfilm in the wheelie bin?0 -
Funnily enough, the wheelie bin has been taken down the drive to the kerb and has been sealed up with gaffer tape.
Now why would anyone do that?0 -

Maybe ask the 'cat' woman of Coventry?"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0 -

Was motoring down to Southampton when received a call from neighbours, gist of which was there's a strange bloke in your fish pond.
I was quick enough to snap him with my Kodak Brownie before he scarpered.
I'm fairly sure it's our buyer, Mr Jones.
For the life of me I can't imagine what he was up to but it looked rather as if he was emptying the lower pond and scooping up the fish into the upper pond.
I know he was showing an unhealthy interest in the ponds but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this with their buyers?
If Henpecked is around later, perhaps he might ID the chap as the Jones who wanted to bury his Great Dane in Henpecked's pond.
I've posted a link:

How did he get in? surely he would have asked, not just proceeded to try to bury the dog without you knowing?
I really should stop getting pulled in by this thread... part of me really just wants to believe it is true!0 -
How he got in is the question!
I am very sure though that he had an ulterior motive in and around our ponds.
He looks a trifle strange, just my humble opinion, in that photo but now that good old Henpecked has ID'd him, I'll be on the lookout for him.
There's a bit of a pong emanating from the area around the wheelie bin so I haven't been able to look inside for any cling film and it's too darned heavy for Wifey to drag back up to the house.0 -
well finally I have got feed back over the vewing at the beginning of the week. They said the house was nice etc, but the EA said they were keen to see the garden area and suspected they were coming to see how this thread started as they werent keen to know much about the house.
As it is bank holiday looming, I wonder if I should do a deal with the National Dogs Trust and open up the garden?0 -

Just seen this thread again and read all the updates; I thought it had ended weeks ago when the dog was buried in the OP's garden but it appears not, very interesting reading and how stressful it must be for you HP.
I've just read the thread from when the dog was buried but I can't see any info re how the Jones's were aware of this thread; did they post on here (and subsequently delete their posts) - I'd be interested to know.
